Higher education within Ireland is currently state funded. Recently, discussions and debate have opened up regarding shifting to a different model of funding, and the introduction of third-level tuition fees.

Therefore, Radio Latina invited Melissa Hoover, American Student of DCU to talk about that in our show, and she explained the pros and cons third-level tuition fees for students, and the different models in other countries like United States.
