Human Rights Defenders, the role of feminist civil society in achieving Colombia’s peace

HOLA LATINOS!…This week we were delighted to welcome María Eugenia Cruz Alarcón and Claudia Mejilla Duque from Colombia onto the show. María Eugenia is the coordinator of the National Network of Women Human Rights Defenders in Colombia, and Claudia is the director of SISMA, a feminist organisation based in Bogotá.

The interview covers the role of feminist civil society in achieving Colombia’s peace agreement and ensuring its implementation, and the challenges faced by women victims of the armed conflict and women human rights defenders in Colombia.
